COACH GALINA, FOUNDER, OWNER & PROGRAM DIRECTOR

Galina is a distinguished figure in the world of gymnastics, bringing a wealth of experience and expertise to Dreams Gymnastics Center. A former elite artistic gymnast from Bulgaria, she trained under world-renowned and professional gymnastics experts, competing alongside Olympians and world champions during her prime years.

With over 40 years in the sport, Coach Galina’s career encompasses her elite gymnastics background and extensive experience in training athletes at the highest levels. Her work includes guiding gymnasts from USAG’s pre-competitive stages to Elite and collegiate levels. As a parent of two college athletes who were also gymnasts, she has a deep understanding of both the athlete’s and mentor’s perspectives.

Under Galina’s leadership, many of her gymnasts have achieved prestigious accolades, including all-around champion titles, state champion titles, and become Regional qualifiers & National Champions. Her expertise also extends to choreography, where she has crafted award-winning routines for floor and balance beam.

In addition to her direct involvement in training, Galina is dedicated to mentoring the next generation of gymnastics professionals. She provides guidance to junior coaches, sharing her extensive knowledge and experience to help them reach their full potential.


COACH PAVLIN, FOUNDER, OWNER & TEAM DIRECTOR

Pavlin brings over 20 years of experience of Professional gymnastics coach to Dreams Gymnastics Center. His expertise spans all levels and events of artistic gymnastics, trampoline, and tumbling. Under his guidance, several gymnasts have earned prestigious all-around champion titles, state champion titles, and regional champions. As Team Director, Pavlin creates a safe, fun, and rewarding training environment. He tailors his techniques to meet the unique needs of each athlete, ensuring they receive personalized support. Pavlin takes immense pride in being the father of his two greatest accomplishments, Desislava (2001) and Martin (2004).


JUSTIN, TEAM COACH

Justin joins Dreams after a distinguished 22-year career with the United States Air Force. Throughout his service, he maintained a strong passion for competitive athletics, particularly gymnastics—a love that began when he started the sport at age 4. Despite a brief hiatus due to a family move during elementary school, Justin remained dedicated to gymnastics and competitive training.

Now, as a father of a current Optional competitor at Dreams, Justin channels his passion for learning and teaching into coaching. He brings his extensive experience and enthusiasm to inspire and develop athletes at the center.


Brooke, Pre-TEAM COACH

Coach Brooke fell in love with gymnastics at an early age and trained at M&M Gymnastics for 9 years. She has three daughters that train at Dreams, two which are on competitive teams. In her "real life", Brooke is a dentist, but her love for gymnastics runs deep. She grew up in Wisconsin and moved to the east coast to attend dental school and residency before settling in Williamsburg. She enjoys getting to know the athletes she trains and watching them accomplish new skills. In her free time she loves baking, working out and spending time with her family.


KORI, USA Gymnastics Instructor

Coach Kori's gymnastics journey began at just four years old as a "Tumble Tot" at Universal Gymnastics in Annapolis, MD. She went on to compete through Level 8 at Barlow’s Gymnastics, earning a spot at the National Championship in 1995. Throughout high school and college, she shared her passion for gymnastics by coaching preschool and recreational classes at Universal Gymnastics and later at The Little Gym. Beyond coaching, Coach Kori is dedicated to promoting health and fitness as a Physical Education teacher, where she inspires students to develop the skills they need for a lifelong active lifestyle.


JACQUELYN, USA Gymnastics Instructor

Coach Jacquelyn, a Williamsburg native, graduated from Lafayette High School and Virginia Commonwealth University. She and her husband live in Williamsburg with their three children. When not working as a Dental Hygienist, she is supporting her son on the baseball field or cheering on her daughters at Dreams Gymnastics.

With years of gymnastics experience, Jacquelyn began training at age five, competing at Atlantic Academy and later Williamsburg Gymnastics before transitioning to competitive cheerleading and high school diving. She started coaching gymnastics in high school and has been passionate about sharing how gymnastics builds life skills on and off the mat ever since.


SHIYLOH, USA Gymnastics Instructor Member

Shiyloh has been immersed in dance since she was five, currently performing as a company member at Inspiration Academy of Dance. She has experience assisting in various classes and organizing birthday parties for children. Shiyloh cherishes activities involving family, friends, music, and food. She is excited and grateful for the opportunity to help her students achieve their goals and fulfill their dreams.


HAILLY, USA Gymnastics Instructor Member

Hailly has been part of the Dreams family for the past seven years, with her younger sister currently competing on the Dreams Optional Team. Although Hailly enjoyed gymnastics as a child, she now excels as a competitive cheerleader. She is passionate about sharing her gymnastics experiences and enjoys teaching kids, with a focus on helping them learn, grow, and achieve their dreams.


LISA, USA Gymnastics Instructor Member

She is a dedicated competitive gymnast at Dreams, having been involved in the sport since the age of two. Outside of gymnastics, she enjoys following college gymnastics closely and aspires to compete at the collegiate level herself. In her spare time, Lisa loves boating and spending time outdoors.


COACH ELLIE, USA Gymnastics Instructor Member

ELLIE has been engaged in gymnastics since she was six years old and is currently a member of the Dreams Optional Team. Her favorite part of coaching is witnessing the joy on a child’s face when they master a new skill, which inspires her to support each gymnast in reaching their potential.


EMILEE, USA Gymnastics Instructor Member

Emilee has been a passionate competitive gymnast for eight years, with five of those years dedicated to training at Dreams. Her love for gymnastics began while living in Germany, and it has been a central part of her life ever since. Currently a sophomore at Warhill High School, Emilee also enjoys weightlifting and spending time outdoors. She has a deep appreciation for travel and loves exploring new and exciting destinations. Beyond gymnastics, Emilee finds joy in working with children and aspires to pursue a career in Pediatric Nursing, combining her love for kids with her future goals.


COACH EMILIE

Emilie began her athletic journey in gymnastics before transitioning to cheerleading, where she has excelled for the past six years. She takes great pleasure in watching younger athletes develop new skills and grow both as gymnasts and cheerleaders.

Currently, Emilie is a student-athlete at High Point University, where she competes on the cheer squad while pursuing a degree in Physical Therapy. Her dedication to cheerleading and her academic goals highlights her commitment to both supporting young athletes and advancing her professional aspirations.


COACH DESISLAVA

Desi, a proud Belmont Abbey College graduate, was a standout on a full Acro and Tumbling scholarship. As a former Level 10 competitive gymnast and a two-time national medalist in Tumbling and Trampoline for Dreams Gymnastics Center, Desi brings a wealth of experience and passion to her role. She graduated Cum Laude with a B.S. in Biology from Belmont Abbey College in May 2022 and was a key member of the Acro & Tumbling team that concluded their season at the NCAA Nationals in Oregon.

Desi is now based in St. Louis, Missouri, where she completed her Master's in Public Health at Saint Louis University, focusing on Global Health and Maternal & Child Health. She also competed on the Division I Track & Field team during her time there.

In addition to her impressive athletic background, Coach Desi is a USAG Instructor Member, CPR, and First Aid certified. She currently contributes to Dreams Gymnastics Center by managing our social media and sharing her extensive knowledge and experiences with young athletes.


COACH MARTIN

Martin is a two-time National Trampoline and Tumbling Champion for Dreams Gymnastics Center. In 2018, he earned a gold medal on trampoline at the Stars and Stripes Championship in Reno, Nevada. He followed this achievement with a second gold medal in Double Mini Trampoline at the 2019 Stars and Stripes Championship in West Palm Beach, FL.

Passionate about sharing his expertise, Martin enjoys working with younger athletes and helping them develop their skills. A graduate of Warhill High School, he was active in soccer, playing for both the Legacy travel team and the varsity squad. Martin also has a strong interest in art, particularly graphic design, and received a High School Oscar in 2019 for his shell drawing.

Currently, Martin is studying Art at Hampden-Sydney College, where he continues to nurture his creative talents. His hobbies include working out and photography, reflecting his diverse interests and commitment to personal growth.


COACH JORDAN

Jordan, a USAG Instructor Member, delights in seeing young gymnasts smile and have fun while developing their skills. A graduate of West Point High School, Jordan has a keen interest in Greek Mythology, which fuels her love for learning.

Currently attending Ferrum College, Jordan is a member of the Track and Field team and is pursuing a double major in Psychology and Health and Human Performance. Her dedication to both academics and athletics showcases her commitment to personal and professional growth.


Administrative and Office staff

Mrs. Aletia grew up in a military family, living on both coasts before settling in Virginia. She and her husband Chris are parents to four wonderful children, including twin daughters who have been with Dreams since 2022. Aletia enjoys family time, exploring new homeschooling activities, and sneaking in naps whenever possible.


Mrs. Lucy spent ten years dancing, with a special love for acrobatics. Her husband Joe is an active-duty military member, making Virginia their current home. They have four children, including a daughter who trains at Dreams. Lucy is studying nursing while balancing family life and contributing to Dreams as she can.


Safety and Certification

All coaches and staff at Dreams Gymnastics Center hold at least a USA Gymnastics University Instructor Certification and adhere to the Code of Ethical Conduct and Safe Sport Program. In line with standards from the United States Olympic & Paralympic Committee and other youth sports organizations, we require criminal background checks for all non-athlete members and volunteers over the age of 18 to ensure a safe environment for everyone.
